The following are the Terms and Conditions applicable in respect of the Pockit Top-up Offer, (hereinafter referred to as “the Offer”) being provided to Melita pre-paid customers (“the Customer”) by Melita Limited (“Melita”). Access to and use of the Offer is subject to the following Terms and Conditions. By accessing and using this Offer, the Customer accepts to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. For more information, please contact Customer Care on 100 (call is free) from your Melita Mobile number, or +356 77100100 from any other network.
The Offer shall commence on the 27th July 2023 and will continue thereafter unless and until it is terminated by Melita.
Subscription to the Offer is available to all new and existing Melita pre-paid Customers. Existing pre-paid Customers upon subscribing to this Offer may not revert back to their previous offer.
Customers subscribing to this Offer may avail themselves of any of the following bundles:
Pass S – at a charge of €5 and for the next 28 days benefit from:
free calls to Melita fixed and mobile numbers in Malta, from 4 January 2024
100 minutes towards all other local networks in Malta and whilst in EU and UK;
100 SMS to all local networks in Malta and whilst in EU and UK;
500MB data in Malta and whilst in EU and UK, at 4.5G speeds.
Pass M – at a charge of €10 and for the next 28 days benefit from:
free calls to Melita fixed and mobile numbers in Malta, from 4 January 2024
200 minutes towards all other local networks in Malta and whilst in EU and UK;
200 SMS to all local networks in Malta and whilst in EU and UK;
10GB data in Malta and whilst in EU and UK, at 4.5G speeds; and
Unlimited use of MelitaWiFi in Malta.
Pass L – at a charge of €15 and for the next 28 days benefit from:
free calls to Melita fixed and mobile numbers in Malta, from 4 January 2024
200 minutes towards all other local networks in Malta and whilst in EU and UK;
200 SMS to all local networks in Malta and whilst in EU and UK;
20GB data in Malta and whilst in EU and UK, at 4.5G speeds; and
Unlimited use of MelitaWiFi in Malta.
To subscribe to any of these bundles, Customer shall send an SMS to 16860 containing the text ‘Pass S’/‘Pass M’/ ‘Pass L’, otherwise customer may subscribe through MyMelita.
Customers subscribing to Auto Top Up will benefit from more data in Malta and whilst in EU and UK, at 4.5G speeds as follows:
Pass S customers will get a total of 1GB;
Pass M customers will get a total of 20GB; and
Pass L customers will get a total of 40GB.
The aforementioned benefits are exclusively accessible through the Auto Top Up service and will not be accessible via alternative top-up methods. In the event of cancellation of the Auto Top Up service, insufficient balance, or the bank card is no longer valid, Customers will automatically return to the original bundle benefits upon next bundle renewal. Melita’s Auto Top-up Terms apply.
Following verification by Melita that Customer has sufficient credit, Customer shall receive a confirmation text. Default rates apply for any usage made prior to the receipt of such confirmation. The full price of the bundle shall be deducted in advance from the Customer’s credit on account. The price of the bundle is not refundable either in whole or in part.
Rates for international calls and SMS, roaming, premium calls and premium SMS will be charged as published on the Melita website. When roaming within the EU & UK calls, SMSs made or sent to Maltese and EU numbers and data usage are treated as domestic usage and will be deducted from your benefits. However, calls/SMS to Melita numbers (on-Net) shall be treated like calls to other domestic networks (Off-Net) whilst roaming.
The Pass S, Pass M and Pass L bundles are valid for twenty-eight (28) days from date of activation.
Any unutilised benefits shall not be carried forward and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Subject to sufficient credit on your account, the bundle will be automatically renewed every twenty-eight (28) days. If you have insufficient credit on your account, the bundle will be removed, and default prepaid rates will apply.
Customers may opt-out of this bundle by sending an SMS to 16852 containing the text ‘STOP’, wherein bundle will not be renewed following the expiry of the twenty-eight (28) days, and any unutilised benefits will be lost. Alternatively, Customers may opt-out of this bundle via MyMelita, wherein the opt-out is immediately removed, and any unutilised benefits will be immediately lost. Default prepaid rates will apply.
Upon consumption of any benefit, default prepaid rates will apply. Customer may choose to repurchase the bundle prior to the lapse of twenty-eight (28) days. New benefits will be assigned and any remaining benefits from previous bundle will be lost.

Other applicable rates shall be as published on the Melita website. All bundles include VAT and 4% excise tax, but exclude any other taxes.
Customers benefitting of this Offer may not avail of the Internet and/or SMS Bundle unless explicitly indicated above.
These Terms and Conditions are to be read in conjunction with Melita’s Pre-paid top-up plan Terms and Conditions and with any other relevant terms and conditions. In case of conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any other applicable terms and conditions, then these Terms and Conditions shall apply.
When subscribed to an unlimited service Melita will not limit your bandwidth or set monthly thresholds, your service will remain unlimited. Nevertheless, your use of the service is subject to your using it for private, personal and legitimate consumer purposes. You should not use the service in an illegal manner causing congestion and threats to the security of the network. Should such a situation arise Melita will not apply restrictions to your download capacity, but will first make reasonable efforts to contact you.
Melita reserves the right to suspend, amend or otherwise alter this Offer and these Terms and Conditions at any time by giving you 30 days’ written notice of such amendments and such amendments shall automatically become part of these Terms and Conditions at the end of the said notice period. If you do not accept any such amendments, you have the right to migrate on to a different tariff plan or terminate the service.
