Melita Limited has been awarded the HR Quality Mark by the Foundation for Human Resources Development (FHRD). This award recognises Melita’s effective human resources practices and follows a thorough assessment carried out by the FHRD which examined seven different criteria. The FHRD’s HR Quality Mark will remain valid for a three-year period.
The seven criteria assessed by FHRD prior to awarding the HR Quality Mark are: HR Policies and Procedures, Recruitment and Selection, Benefits and Total Rewards, Employment and Industrial Relations, Performance Management, HR Information Systems, and People Development and Training.
The presentation of the HR Quality Mark certificate took place at the recent FHRD Annual Conference during which Melita’s Human Resources Manager, Stephanie Cacopardo, also contributed to a panel discussion on how human resources practices have, and will continue to be, influenced by the pandemic. The discussion focussed primarily on the opportunities and challenges of remote working, skills shortages and training, as well as employee wellbeing.
