Melita Limited has been shortlisted as a finalist for three Malta Business Awards:
- Customer Service Excellence
- Best CSR Initiative
- Carbon Neutral Commitment.
The Malta Business Awards, which are organised by the Malta Chamber of SMEs and Malta Enterprise, recognise businesses for their achievements in 4 different categories: Distinct Initiatives, Green Ambassadors, Celebrating Business, and Business Innovation.
The Customer Service Excellence Award and the Best CSR Initiative fall under the Distinct Initiative Category. Finalists in this category are being recognised for their higher level of awareness towards the local community, and their positive action within this field.

The Carbon Neutral Commitment Award falls under the Green Ambassadors category, which recognises the commitment a business has made towards the environment. Melita has committed to a 42% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions; this is the most ambitious Science Based Targets Initiative, designed to limit global warming to 1.50C above pre-industrial temperatures.
A panel of judges will now interview each of the finalists. The winners will be announced on the 28th of October.
