eSim Requirements
Say goodbye to dealing with pins, tiny trays, and plastic SIM cards! If your phone supports eSIM, you can easily switch to an eSIM for your Melita plan or choose it when getting a new one.
Before you switch to an eSIM, here’s what you need to know:
- Check Compatibility: Make sure your phone supports eSIM by looking in the Settings under Connectivity/SIM manager options.
- Instant Deactivation: When you switch, your physical SIM will be instantly deactivated, cutting off all connectivity until your new eSIM is activated.
- Stay Connected: Start this process when you have WiFi or another internet connection to avoid losing access to calls, SMS, or data.
- Irreversible: Once you request an eSIM, your physical SIM will be permanently deactivated and cannot be reactivated or reused.
- One-Time Use: eSIMs are for one device only, so make sure you activate it on the phone you plan to use.
